Emasi and Sishwala — Emasi is Eswatini's beloved cultured sour milk — drunk as a thick yoghurt or added to sishwala (stiff maize porridge) to make the country's most traditional meal. Found at every local restaurant and roadside food stall across the kingdom.

Impala and Warthog — The restaurants of the Ezulwini Valley and the Hlane/Mlilwane camps serve excellent impala and warthog — game meat sourced from the reserves themselves, grilled or slow-cooked and served with pap and chakalaka.

Mlilwane Braai Evenings — The Mlilwane Rest Camp's evening braai is a southern African institution — guests bring their own meat, the camp provides the fire, and the sound of hippos in the nearby pool accompanies every dinner.

Malkerns Fresh Produce and Pies — The Malkerns Valley market stalls sell fresh subtropical fruit, homemade jams, and pies from local bakers — mango, avocado, and macadamia nut are all grown in Eswatini's fertile Middleveld.
