Arena di Verona — One of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, built in 30 AD. Seats 15,000 for the legendary summer opera festival. The pink and white limestone glows at sunset.

Casa di Giulietta — The 13th-century house with its famous balcony, attributed to Shakespeare's Juliet. The courtyard is free to enter, and you can pay to stand on the balcony itself.

Piazza delle Erbe — Verona's oldest piazza, once the Roman forum, now lined with frescoed palaces, market stalls, and lively cafes. The Torre dei Lamberti offers panoramic views.
