Hohensalzburg Fortress — Towering above the old town, this 11th-century fortress offers panoramic views of the city, Alps, and river. Reach it by funicular or a steep walk. Museums inside cover history and weaponry.

Mirabell Palace & Gardens — Elegant palace gardens famous from The Sound of Music, with geometric flower beds, fountains, and statues framing a perfect view of the fortress. The Marble Hall hosts concerts.

Mozart's Birthplace — The yellow townhouse at Getreidegasse 9 where Mozart was born in 1756. Three floors of exhibits display original instruments, family portraits, and letters.
