Monumento a la Bandera — A massive and moving monument to the Argentine flag, inaugurated in 1957 on the spot where General Belgrano first raised the flag in 1812. The tower offers panoramic river views.

Costanera Sur — A gorgeous stretch of waterfront parks, walking and cycling paths, sandy river beaches, and cultural venues along the Paran\u00e1 River. The heart of Rosario\u2019s outdoor life.

MACRO (Museo de Arte Contempor\u00e1neo) — Housed in a converted grain silo on the riverfront, MACRO showcases cutting-edge Argentine contemporary art with rotating exhibitions and a rooftop with river views.

Asado a la Parrilla — Rosario claims the best parrillas in Argentina. Thick cuts of grass-fed beef grilled over wood coals \u2014 order vacío, entra\u00f1a, or the classic tira de asado.

Carlitos — Rosario\u2019s signature snack: small, thin ham and cheese sandwiches served hot and pressed. Sold at kioscos and bars across the city, usually by the dozen.

Surub\u00ed a la Parrilla — Grilled surub\u00ed (a giant Paran\u00e1 River catfish) served at island parrillas. Firm, white flesh with a delicate flavour. A Rosario speciality.

Rogel — A multi-layered Argentine cake with thin pastry sheets sandwiched with dulce de leche and topped with Italian meringue. A classic of Rosario bakeries.
