Top Places to Visit

Old Town (Vecrīga) — A labyrinth of cobblestone streets, Gothic churches, and colourful guild houses dating back to the 13th century. The spiritual and architectural heart of Riga, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

House of the Blackheads — Originally built in 1334 for the Brotherhood of Blackheads, this ornate building was destroyed in WWII and meticulously reconstructed in 1999. Its elaborate facade is Riga's most photographed landmark.

Art Nouveau District — Riga boasts over 800 Art Nouveau buildings — the densest collection anywhere. Alberta Street is the crown jewel, with fantastical facades featuring mythical figures, floral motifs, and elaborate ornamentation.
