George Town Street Art — Ernest Zacharevic's iconic murals and the '52 steel-rod sculptures' turn the UNESCO heritage streets into a living gallery. Wander Armenian Street, Cannon Street, and beyond.

Kek Lok Si Temple — A stunning hillside temple complex featuring a seven-storey pagoda blending Chinese, Thai, and Burmese architecture, plus a towering bronze Guanyin statue.

Penang Hill — Take the Swiss-engineered funicular railway 821 metres up for sweeping views of George Town, the mainland, and lush rainforest. Visit The Habitat canopy walk at the summit.

Penang Assam Laksa — A tangy, fish-based tamarind broth with thick rice noodles, flaked mackerel, mint, ginger flower, and pungent shrimp paste. Ranked among the world's best foods by CNN.

Hokkien Mee (Prawn Mee) — Rich prawn-and-pork-bone broth ladled over yellow noodles and rice vermicelli, topped with prawns, pork slices, kangkung, and a spoonful of chilli paste.

Rojak — A fruit-and-vegetable salad tossed in thick, dark prawn paste sauce with crushed peanuts — a sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavour explosion unique to Penang.
