Miraflores Malecón — A 10-km clifftop path overlooking the Pacific with parks, gardens, paragliders launching from the cliffs, and stunning sunset views. The Parque del Amor features a Gaudí-inspired mosaic wall.

Local Food

Ceviche — Peru's national dish: fresh raw fish cured in lime juice with red onion, chilli, and cilantro, served with sweet potato and crunchy cancha corn. Eat it at lunch — never dinner.

Lomo Saltado — A Chifa (Chinese-Peruvian) stir-fry of beef strips, tomatoes, and onions with soy sauce, served over rice and french fries. The perfect example of Peru's fusion cuisine.

Anticuchos — Grilled beef heart skewers marinated in ají panca chilli and vinegar, charred over coals and served with boiled potato and corn. Lima's most beloved street food, especially at night.

Pisco Sour — Peru's national cocktail: pisco brandy, lime juice, simple syrup, egg white, and Angostura bitters shaken into a frothy, tangy masterpiece. The debate with Chile is eternal.
