Petronas Twin Towers — The 452-metre iconic twin towers are Malaysia's most recognisable landmark. Visit the Skybridge on level 41 and the Observation Deck on level 86. The KLCC Park below offers free fountain shows nightly.

Batu Caves — A 272-step rainbow staircase leads to a massive cathedral cave housing Hindu shrines. The 42.7-metre golden Murugan statue guards the entrance. During Thaipusam (Jan/Feb), over a million devotees visit.

Jalan Alor — A 250-metre hawker street that transforms nightly into an open-air food paradise. Grilled chicken wings, satay, durian, and Chinese seafood stalls fill the air with aromatic smoke. The quintessential KL food experience.

KL Tower (Menara KL) — The 421-metre tower sits atop Bukit Nanas hill and offers 360-degree views from its observation and open-air sky decks. The revolving restaurant Atmosphere 360 serves dinner above the clouds.

Satay — Charcoal-grilled marinated meat skewers served with spicy peanut sauce, rice cakes (ketupat), and cucumber-onion relish. Best from the street vendors on Jalan Alor or at Kajang satay joints.

Char Kuey Teow — Smoky stir-fried flat noodles with prawns, cockles, Chinese sausage, bean sprouts, and chives. The intense wok hei (breath of the wok) flavour separates great plates from ordinary ones.

Roti Canai — Flaky, buttery flatbread served with dhal curry or fish curry for dipping. Available 24 hours at mamak (Indian-Muslim) restaurants across KL. Order 'roti telur' for an egg-filled version.
