Chinese Fishing Nets — Massive cantilevered fishing nets introduced by Chinese traders from the court of Kublai Khan, silhouetted against every Kochi sunset. Watch fishermen operate the counterweight mechanism at the waterfront.

Fort Kochi — A charming peninsula of narrow lanes, colourful street art, Portuguese churches, Dutch cemeteries, and British bungalows. The most walkable and atmospheric neighbourhood in Kochi.

Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) — Built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch, this palace contains stunning Kerala mural paintings depicting scenes from the Ramayana and Hindu mythology.
