Al-Balad (Historic Jeddah) — A labyrinth of narrow alleys lined with centuries-old coral-stone merchant houses featuring ornate wooden rawashin (latticed balconies). The atmospheric heart of old Jeddah, recently restored and revitalized.

King Fahd Fountain — Shooting water 312 metres into the air along the Jeddah Corniche, this is the tallest fountain on earth. Best viewed at night when illuminated in brilliant white against the dark sky.

Jeddah Corniche — A sweeping 30 km waterfront promenade along the Red Sea with parks, sculptures, playgrounds, and mosques. The social heart of Jeddah, especially lively on weekend evenings.
