Table Mountain — Rising 1,085m above the city, Table Mountain offers breathtaking 360-degree views from its summit. Take the rotating cable car or hike up via Platteklip Gorge. Often draped in its 'tablecloth' of cloud.

V&A Waterfront — Cape Town's vibrant harbor precinct with over 450 shops, restaurants, the Zeitz MOCAA contemporary art museum, the Two Oceans Aquarium, and departure point for Robben Island ferries.

Local Food

Cape Malay Bobotie — South Africa's national dish — spiced minced meat baked with an egg custard topping, flavored with curry, turmeric, and chutney. A Cape Malay creation dating back centuries, served with yellow rice and sambal.

Snoek Braai — Snoek is the Cape's iconic fish — line-caught, butterflied, and grilled over open coals with apricot jam glaze. Best enjoyed outdoors at Hout Bay harbour or at the Kalky's fish shop in Kalk Bay.

Gatsby Sandwich — A Cape Town original — a massive foot-long roll stuffed with hot chips, steak or polony, lettuce, and sauce. Designed to be shared, this working-class creation is a local legend.

Koeksisters & Malva Pudding — Koeksisters are twisted doughnuts drenched in syrup — sticky, sweet, and addictive. Malva pudding is a warm, spongy apricot dessert served with custard. Both are Cape classics.
